This Privacy Policy explains how the Food mobile app ("App", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use nutrition and meal analysis features. The app is published by Prodev.

1. Data We Collect

• Meal photos you upload for analysis.
• Meal weight and optional nutrition profile inputs.
• Google sign-in account identifiers and email address.
• Profile preferences (for example: goals, personal information, and nutrition settings).
• Subscription and purchase status from Google Play.
• Push notification tokens if you enable notifications.
• Support messages you send through Help & Support.
• Technical diagnostics such as app version and basic error logs.

2. How We Use Data

• Provide meal recognition and nutrition estimation.
• Save your profile and personalize recommendations.
• Improve app quality and fix reliability issues.
• Respond to support requests.

3. Camera and Photo Permissions

The App requests camera access so you can capture meal images. Photos are used only for nutrition analysis and app functionality.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by trusted service providers strictly to operate core features (for example, secure hosting and AI processing).

5. Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Food account and associated app data from inside the app: open Profile, select Privacy & Data, then choose Delete Account. This deletes profile data, meal scans, meal photos, reports, notification tokens, auth sessions, and support messages associated with your account.

If you cannot access the app, email food.app.support@gmail.com with the subject "Food account deletion request" from the email address used for your Food account. We will process verified deletion requests.

If you have an active Google Play subscription, cancel it in Google Play to stop future billing. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, or regulatory reasons.

6. Data Retention

We keep account data only as long as needed to operate the app, provide support, maintain subscriptions, and meet legal obligations.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13 years old. If we learn that child data was collected, we will remove it.

Some features depend on internet connectivity and third-party services and may be unavailable occasionally.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Food is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
