Welcome to ProDev ScanDoc ("Application", "we", "our", or "us"), provided by ProDevUz. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your data is handled. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and safeguarded when you use our mobile application (Package: uz.prodev.scandoc).

        Key Summary: Your documents and scans belong entirely to you. We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed solely to provide document scanning, OCR text extraction, PDF generation, and subscription licensing.
      

1.1 Information We Collect

Account & Profile Information: When you sign in (e.g., via Google Sign-In), we receive basic profile details such as your email address, display name, and unique user identifier. This information is used strictly to identify your account and manage your scan quota and subscriptions.
Camera & Storage Data: To capture document pages, the app requests access to your device's camera. To save, export, and manage your scanned PDF files, the app requests access to device storage. Scans and images are processed on your device.
In-App Purchases & Subscription Data: When you purchase the Pro subscription, transaction data (such as Google Play purchase tokens and order IDs) is securely sent to our backend to verify and activate your Pro license. Payment details (e.g., credit card numbers) are processed exclusively by Google Play and are never accessible to us.
Crash & Performance Data: We may collect anonymous crash logs and diagnostics to ensure stability and improve application performance.

1.2 How We Use Your Information

To provide core features: multi-page scanning, image enhancement, OCR text recognition, and PDF generation.
To authenticate your user identity and enforce plan quotas (e.g. Free monthly scans vs. unlimited Pro plan).
To verify and maintain your Google Play active subscriptions.
To provide customer support and technical troubleshooting.

1.3 Data Storage and Security

All data transmitted between the Application and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS). We implement strict security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of user data.

1.4 Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes the following third-party service providers:

Google Play Services / Google Sign-In: For secure user authentication.
Google Play In-App Billing: For secure subscription and payment processing.
Google ML Kit: For on-device Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and text recognition.

1.5 Children's Privacy

Our Application is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately to remove it.

1.6 Data Deletion and User Rights

You have the right to access, modify, or request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. To request complete account and data deletion, please contact us at the email provided below.

2. Terms of Service (Пользовательское соглашение)

By downloading, installing, or using ProDev ScanDoc, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2.1 License and Usage

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ProDev ScanDoc for personal or business document scanning purposes in accordance with these Terms.

2.2 Subscription and In-App Purchases

Free Tier: Free tier users receive a monthly quota of free document scans.
Pro Subscription: Upgrading to Pro grants unlimited scans, advanced OCR features, and batch processing.
Billing & Renewal: Subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing on a recurring monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period via Google Play Store account settings.

2.3 User Content & Responsibility

You retain all rights to any documents, text, and images you scan or generate using the Application. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your scanned content complies with all applicable laws and does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights.

2.4 Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

ProDev ScanDoc is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. While we strive for maximum OCR accuracy and high-quality PDF rendering, we do not guarantee 100% error-free text extraction. In no event shall ProDevUz be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Application.
